"This was a trip that was planned to render a first salute to a prior student, but was unable to attend due to father being on hospice and passed the day before checking in. When the hotel was contacted, they would not answer and we were charged the entire hotel costs. I understand cancelling last minute, but in some cases a little compassion would be appreciated. "
