Doesn't meet the minimum standard

Amezing location and the staff was nice but for the rest is a let down. No doors to the dorms and walls are very durty and old. The beds very old and uncomfortable.

Inconsistent water pressure in bathroom. Best to pack own towel and toiletries (i.e. toothbrush and paste, shampoo and body wash). No TV in room. Free WIFI provided. Location near to Jonker Street and local night market (less than 1 km - about 5 minutes walk).

The hostel was clean. Well located. The staff was really nice. But the mattress were too hard, the AC was too cold so it was hard to sleep well with the tiny blankets but if you turn off the AC it's too hot.

The staff is really friendly and shows the map to introduce the places to visit. The WIFI not really working well. The room is for the price you paid. Budget room so the bed and toilet is okay. When people walk on the wooden floor, you will hear the annoying sound. The window beside the stairs and the light is open 24 hours. So the room is bright and my couldnt sleep with it. The room have aircond and fan, you can choose which you want to sleep with. There are free breakfast-bread and coffee/tea. Promotion price for water, beer and can drinks. Affordable price. Overall is satisfy.

Good stay for a few nights. You get what you pay.

Overall I could say I had pleasant stay for 2 nights. The location was good enough to town center. Staffs were friendly. The rooms locates 2 minutes away from the reception, which means they have a different building for rooms with 3 stories. They sell beers which are supposedly cheaper than any other places in the town.

I'm all the way from Kluang, Johor. On 12am just in time i reach the hotel. I went to check in section and asked for a booked room and show them the receipt from Expedia. They said the payment is not successful because i just do it on 10pm. Although the payment is not clear, they trust us and collect from me rm30 for key deposit. The staff is really friendly, he took me to the upstairs at the level 3 and show me the room and the toilet. The room is a bit gloomy with their lights, and the toilet is ok, but i accept it just for one nights. The room fitted with airconditioner and queen bed. After i check in, i took a rest in the room. He said, by the next day he will check again whether the payment is clear. The stategic location and classic design of the hotel makes me feel like back in time. With the old phones and cameras decoration, the Volkswagen Beetle as their seating area and old beer bottles as their commemorative item. Its raining heavily in the next morning. The check out time is 12pm, but I manage to check out early at 9am. I took a shower and packing bagpacks, i go down to look for a breakfast. They serve us toasted bread and strawberry jam. They also provide us tea for drinks. I go to the returning section and ask the key collection staff about my payment i make yesterday, She acknowledge and appreciate me for being honest. She also tell me that the payment is already in. I'm happy to hear that she invited me to stay here again in the next time when i reach Melaka

Hostellin henkilökunta oli erittäin mukava ja avulias kaikissa asioissa. Hostellin sijainti oli erinomainen: lähellä ostoskatuja ja kuuluisimpia nähtävyyksiä. Miinuksena mainittakoon se, että huoneessamme ollut sumennettu ikkuna oli hostellin käytävälle, josta tuli valoa koko yön huoneeseemme. Myös kadun äänet kuuluivat voimakkaasti huoneeseemme eikä peitoille ollut tarjolla lakanoita.

Uncomfortable but central

Fan dorm is a small room with 5 bunkbeds. There's not enough space for backpacks and there are items left behind by previous guests scattered around that no one seems to clear. Facilities are average. The reception-cafe across the street has a nice environment and location of the hostel is good. Also, breakfast is offered. The hostel only needs cleaning and order.

Great location and helpful staffs

Over all it was a good experience to stay. Less than 5 min to walk to the old town/Chinatown. You can ask the staff to reserve a taxi to the bus station. Good advices were provide for traveling. The only thing that bothered me was the linens. There always a stain and a hole around the pillow side. Other than that, it was nice to stay.

Maison chinoise rénovée avec goût et charme situé au 7 à côté du café guest house "D’riverside ". Nous avions loué une chambre double avec balcon vue sur la ville,prévoir une montée d’escalier,chambre propre avec tout le nécessaire, salle de bain avec douche séparée . Il y a une petite terrasse commune tout en haut avec vue sur la rivière. Accueil aimable et professionnel de John donnant des informations utiles,sécurité,touristique,vous pouvez le joindre au café. Vous pouvez y prendre le petit déjeuner basique, gratuit.Le quartier touristique se trouve à proximité. Excellent séjour à Malacca

일단은 수건이 없습니다. 정수기도 없구요 다만 1.5링깃만 주면 큰 통 하나 살수잇어요. 바닥이 오래되어서 소리가 나구요. 안내해주는 점원이 재밌는사람인거 같네요. 샤워시설이 열악하지만 가격을 생각한다면 추천해주고싶네요

ダッチスクエアからすぐの場所で便利

トイレ、シャワー付きのダブルベッドの部屋に宿泊しました。古い割には清潔で一流のサービスを求めるのでなければこういったスタイルもありだと思います。スタッフも気さくで対応に問題はないと思います。ロケーションとしては抜群で再度宿泊もありかな…と、思ってます。少しだけカフェを利用しましたが、サービスも料理も良かったと思います。 トイレとシャワーが一緒なのでシャワー後は自室のトイレは使えません。共有スペースのトイレとシャワーを使い分けることも必要です。
