Overall was good.

This hotel is quite old and maintenance is needed such as lift, amenities holder at the shower area. However, the room cleanliness was good. Air con was strong and cooling.

This is a comfortable hotel and the room that I had on 13th floor was spacious, sunny and hospitable. But this is not a grand old dame. It is a huge 300 plus bed hotel in the city centre of Melaka. There is a big shopping mall across the road. It’s just a pity that there was not not water for most of my four day stay and housekeeping is very tardy. They don’t even provide hand towels except on request. But despite the shortcomings it is a fine place to stay at a very reasonable price.

- Convenient 15-20 mins walk to most tourist attractions such as Dutch Square, Jonker Street - Concierge staff was incredibly helpful in giving us travel directions - Free parking for hotel guests - Room was spacious and decently clean (4 star hotel standards) - We were given a family suite on the high floor and were there on a non-peak period so it was generally quiet. - Interior design furniture and fittings is slightly outdated and worn out but otherwise functional - WIFI connection is good - Wide range of TV channel options, but could not access OTT apps - need to be ‘updated’. - Provided only the necessary toiletries including soap shampoo toothbrush toothpaste bath towels and bath room mat - We did not try their buffet breakfast but opted for the cafe at the ground floor of the hotel. Coffee and American style breakfast was fair for the price. - In overall, the place is suitable for travellers or those with larger families looking for a practical, convenient and spacious accommodation for an economical price. Will not be suitable for those expecting the luxury aesthetics and services of your typical 5/6 star hotel.
