Top Malacological Museum of Clay Hotel Reviews
Corte dei Francesi
10/10 Excellent
"Great property and hotel stay with unique design details. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was nice. Would stay again!"
Nohasi Palace
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderful restful stop in Salento. The pool and the cute palace cats were a real hit with my daughter. The palace is beautifully restored and decorated with antiques. The alfresco dinner in the garden by the fountain was refined and unforgettable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got to visit their medieval olive oil making subterranean tunnels as a bonus. It’s off the beaten track but definitely a must to visit."
Palazzo Francesco Grassi Luxury Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"Just wow! It was such a real privilege to have had the opportunity to be guests at this stunning family palace, and to have been hosted by Riccardo, the great grandson of the original owner. From the moment we stepped inside the building we could not believe our eyes. Every room has very high exquisitely painted ceilings. Our room, despite being the cheapest option, which was still amazing value for money, was very spacious, scrupulously clean, and beautiful furnished with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The bathroom was also big with a great shower. The aircon was very effective too. Riccardo prepared us a copious breakfast, accompanied by an energy boosting fresh smoothie. He also recommended a seafood restaurant where we ate really well in Santa Maria al Bagno which is also a cute and lively place with a beach in the old town where people were still swimming at 1 am! Free parking is available almost opposite the palace. I highly recommend this place without hesitation. You will pinch yourself to make sure you are not living a dream!"
Hotel Hermitage
8/10 Good
"Hotel Hermitage was a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was decently spacious. Parking was easy-on site. The property was generally well kept and clean. The bathroom I had appeared to be relatively newly renovated, however it did need a new shower head as a lot of the rubber ends where the water comes out had calcified so the water pressure wasn't very good, or sprayed out in all sorts of directions. Breakfast was a little bit underwhelming. It was basically bread and cereal with a bit of fruit that was not replenished while I ate there so I didn't get to have any. I did not have a chance to use the outdoor facilities but they looked well kept. Overall I enjoyed my stay aside from the shower head and breakfast."

Masseria Luci Grande
10/10 Excellent
"Giorgio was an excellent host, very kind and generous. He is naturally gregarious and comfortable chatting with the guests and speaks many languages. On arrival he gave us links to local restaurants and things to do. Massaria Luci Grande was beautiful, clean and cannot be faulted. We spent time around the pool which was fantastic and relaxing with sun loungers and parasols. The breakfasts were great with many of the items homemade - bread, jam, tomatoes, courgettes, in addition to croissants, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled eggs etc. 10/10. Would recommend this place for a relaxing stay but still close the local towns, restaurants etc. Location is great for visiting Gallipoli, Lecce and other parts of Solento."
