"Amazing beautiful location but unfortunately the house did not live up to expectations, especially considering the price. The house was damp and smelt strongly of damp. Some of the walls were very damp with bubbling of the paint and mould. There was mould around the bathroom plug and around the edge of the shower. The sofas had lost their springs and incredibly uncomfortable which wasn't helped with being made from hessian. The bed was very bouncy so when my husband rolled over I bounced...

The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. Highly recommend using this host and also their property. Thanks for a great stay "

"The accommodation was fantastic, felt brand new, the location is a bit noisy due to the bus depot next door, they advertised two parking bays but only one was available which due to the lack of parking spaces in the area was quite inconvenient."

"Very welcoming to my dog; dog treats & bowls!! I understood it was an enclosed garden but it wasn't so I had to put her lead on every time she wanted to go out. This wasn't such a hardship though. "

"This property was ideal for our 2 night stay in Haworth. It was warm on our arrival with a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was clean and decorated to a high standard. "

"This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

"Beautiful spot, fantastic hosts and the cottage has every item you could possibly want.
Having tea/ coffee/ washing up liquid etc is so helpful when you are self catering.
The wine was a lovely touch"

"Breakfast is good. Plenty of choice. Sausages are very good. Poached eggs were spot on. Got enough beans. Bacon is ok. Not overly keen on giant field/Portobello mushroom. I prefer saute'd button mushrooms. DO NOT mess about with the bread toasters! They toast bang on if not fiddled with.
Some of the younger serving staff need more training. They should know what the soup of the day is, people do ask. They need to know what is in the sauces with the meals and that if you order a steak, you need a steak knife and if you order soup, you need a soup spoon. They should check the water bottles and glasses for debris.
The room and en suite were spotless, well laid out and comfortable.
The reception staff are great, very helpful and know exactly what they are doing and what there is to do.
The grounds all around the hotel are spectacular. The views from most rooms are uninterupted views across the lake and into the distant hills. There are some great walks locally. The shooting range is world class. The shooting lodge is really a nice log construction.
Facilities and things to do at the hotel and around the area are great."
"Gorgeous Grade 2 listed building.
The price was brilliant for what it was. We paid £153 for 2 nights.
There was a lovely walk down into Bingley by the canal and there were plenty of nice pubs and restaurants.
The rooms were stunning - we stayed during the end of 30oC heatwave but there was a plug in fan in the room that did well to keep us cool.
Breakfast was included in the price - not much selection but staff were eager to help and even passed out ice cold bottle of water.
The property inside and outside was stunning, the rooms were a great size and I didn’t mind at all that they weren’t updated. It’s just a shame it seems like it’s fell into disuse over the years and there was no bar or restaurant. It’d also be great if there was space outside in the garden to eat breakfast.
I never write reviews but would definitely stay there again"
"Great location. Restaurants and small grocery along with bakeries and coffee shops near by. Room was very comfortable. Location convenient to other towns near by."
