"We loved this property! After having another property owner from another site refuse to honor the rental (he double-booked), we found this place at the last minute. The owner and his wife were so gracious and welcoming — and able to get the place ready for us in short order. The apartment is very charming and a lot more spacious than it looks online. "Much improved… visited 2022 and was disappointed with the club breakfast, poor food and beverage options there and slightly tired space. This has been revamped and is now worthy of a 5* hotel. Breakfast choices excellent this time in the club, improved quality and options! Proper, fresh orange juice not diluted. The rooms are the same and very clean but starting to feel a little tired so could do with a refresh. Staff friendly and pleasant but communication surrounding pool closures is poor. Lots of closures due to events and there are others but a bit of notice would be good. Concierge not massively helpful or knowledgeable. Felt we knew more about the area and restaurants than they did! Really need to improve recommendations. Also they could do with updating their towels - grey and not fluffy. Last time was unsure if would revisit and visited this time on a whim but would definitely return."

"Guest House Kiko was exactly as advertised. Room was clean and host communicated well on how to meet once we arrived. The location was ideal for visiting Mljet National Park (which is just a few steps away) and staying in Pomena with a spectacular view. The restaurant attached had a lot of charm, friendly staff and great food."

"This hotel was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The family that own it are so helpful and kind , they will do everything to accommodate you, with a smile and sincerity that you just don’t find in other hotels. We are coming back in September and look forward to seeing them again. The old time charm of the hotel along with its history are amazing. Highly recommend it !"
