Nice hotel with a great beach and good size pool area. Kids play pool was very cool. Adults were enjoying playing on the bouncy slide, including me with my 14 year old daughter. Hotel is a four star, no more. Buffet is nice, but nothing crazy. Lots of seating no problems there. More babies and families with small kids than I’ve ever seen at any hotel. It wasn’t a problem. Most were adorable but we love babies. Elevator is slow. Skip the specialty restaurant Gust. No one seems to go there as they have a small menu with boring food.

I booked this hotel very last minute, I arrived at midnight and the male receptionist Jose was amazing! Very friendly & professional. Made the check in very uncomplicated & quick. Thank you. Room are nice clean and spacious.

The air conditioning is terrible. The front desk called us to tell us our rooms were ready for check in, which is great, but when we got there a couple hours later they could not find the reservations. We had to wait for the manager to assist us because the desk agent didn't know what to do, and he wouldn't come over first because he was checking in a large party and then who knows....took an HOUR to get checked in, he never came over, they figured it out. Did I say the A/C is weak? Went to the front desk for help as we turned on the A/C to cool off the room while we went out and got back to the same temp, HOT. Went to the front desk where the night guy told me the doors and windows had to be shut and there is a sensor in the room that knows if you are in the room. Told him the A/c is pushing air at a slight breeze pace. After some convincing, he gave me another room key and went to another room he gave me, checked the A/C. Same as our room. A hairdryer blows harder. Took 3 hours to cool the room off to a comfortable temp. Beds and pillows 3 star level. 4 star hotel no way??

Great hotel for families. Excellent, well maintained facilities on a beautiful beach. Food is what you’d expect from a buffet, but I always managed to find something decent. This is my third stay with the kids at this hotel and we will be back again.

We loved the sea.it was so good for a toddler. Staff was really good. Food was very nice. Room & hotel ware always clean. We had a continuous bad smell in our room and it was from the pluming pipes of the shower drain. If you can, i suggest you do not get a room in the ground floor.on the 5th day we were offered to change the room but it was too late as we were leaving i two days.

A Must for the Mallorca 312!
Amazing hotel and location for the Mallorca 312 cycle event. Right next to the start/ finish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially after my little crash on a training ride!

The front desk staff were all super helpful at checkin and other times during the stay. I was in an accessible room and it was spacious and clean. Although the pool areas weren't busy because the weather was cold the separate children and adult pools will appeal to those who want some peace and quite. I was out for some cycling, it was a very cycling friendly hotel even though it was a relatively high end hotel. The hotel is also right on the beach with a bar overlooking the beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear water. Didn't use the SPA, but it looked great, the staff recommended I used it when I joked the outdoor pool was a bit cold (visited in April). Outside the hotel the location is great, loads of great restaurants and bars and cycling shops. If you do the 312 cycling event it was right on the start finish line which was a life saver for me after nearly 14 hours of cycling. All in all, good hotel, would recommend!

Location is great. Grass area with pine trees in between the hotel and beach is super cozy and tranquil - with a sign "Do not walk on it" and EVERYONE rightfully ignoring it..... Sea is wonderful and warm but NOT as calm as you see on all brochures and websites...Good gym - BUT to find it is a challenge as there are NO signs to it and the reception staff gave me terrible directions. Rooms are nice and simple BUT very small especially if you have a family of three and are given double room. Balcony seem bigger then a room - direct sea view was very nice but every balcony has 0% privacy with Neighbours.... Entertainment was excellent especially for families with children. If anyone looking for a more tranquil holiday - go next door to the "Village" hotel....Food was literally HIT OR MISS. It's a shame as most of dishes looked very appetising but almost every meal I wanted to get the cooks who made them to try it in front of me....... some dishes were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE - be very careful and avoid all shellfish as it's either tastlessly chewy or almost raw and full of sand and guts like the razor clams - THEY WERE DISGUSTING!!!!! I made a comment about it to the waiter and he laughed it off..... The safest choice is to stick to grilled meats and fish made on the spot and simple things like or fresh salads The room was cleaned very late in the day even that we put a sign "please clean our room" in the morning and even mentioned this to the reception

Very good hotel with extremely polite staff
We had an excellent week at Iberostar Playa del Muro. The hotel is really set up to have your kids very well entertained. Staff is extremely polite and ready to solve any minor problems. Radka was of great help since our first day. Ready to help and very efficient. Opportunities for improvement: pool with ocean view (this one I believe is not feasible anymore) and service at the pool and beach. Unfortunately you don't have the option to have drinks and appetizers being served while you are enjoying the pool or the beach. Overall we had a very good experience and would certainly come back.

We stayed for 3 nights. First night the AC was not working. They offered to switch to another room but wanted us to have to go back to the same room in the morning Because "we only paid for that room". And the other room is an upgrade. Plus they could not tell what time in the morning, and we had plans already. So We did not switch rooms since we're only there for 2 more nights. The AC got fixed the next day but overnight the ceiling in the bathroom started leaking water. We couldn't use bathroom during the day. So overall the hotel does not live up to the Iberostar reputation that it usually does. It was horrible.

Nice hotel
Hotel was nice with plenty of activities , situated on the beach, our room was quite small for 2 adults and one child! Buffet restaurant and food ok but gets quite busy and noisy, restaurants 5-10 minute walk, Alcudia port 3 miles away with lots of restaurants but needed to catch bus (4 euros for 3 people) bus stop directly outside hotel or taxi for approx 12 euros.

All the sunloungers were reserved!!
Everything was great except for the fact that the sunloungers (around the pool and on the beach) were blatantly reserved by selfish guests some of whom never bothered using them. Really annoying!

Playa de Muro is right on the beach and has a great buffet. The buffet serves different items each day so your not eating the same thing everyday. The high school level of entertainment every evening was terrible. The adults had NOTHING to do after the pool closed at 1900. Hire a comedian for the show and a decent guitar player/singer for the bar. Every evening after dinner, the adults would buy a drink and sit down at the show or bar. 5 min. later, I would see everyone standing up to leave and be left wandering around the hotel.

Great location, virtually on the beach ! We enjoyed a great view from our room. Fairly basic but clean and comfortable beds for adults. The children's sofa beds could do with more comfort. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent with great variety and well presented. Always got sunbeds without having to creep about in the early hours ! Only one criticism is that the bar with the sea view shuts too early at 6.30. There is other options and we could see why they do it but it is always nice to have a sun downer at the end of the day chilling and gazing out to sea. Apart from that, we had a great holiday and really enjoyed our stay, would go back. The only problem with repeat visits to Iberostar is the entertainment - watching Simba and Scar for the 4th year in a row was a bit dull but I think the kids still enjoyed it, we just had to hide in another bar !

Iberostar Playa de Muro is a strong 3 star holiday destination with a few exciting things in it. Take half board but I would not recommend all inclusive. On-site dining included in HB is very good, if you need lunch you can go into a small sea-facing cafe in hotel or walk out across the road for a good choice of cafes there. Do not take the beach chairs (they a re for fee), chill around the hotel's pools and drop out for sea swimming when needed, it is a short walking distance. In general it was a good holiday experience, may worth 150..200 eur per night, not more

Nice hotel, with good facilities and we (4 adults and a 3 year old) enjoyed our stay. Food was good (HB). Negative points: One of the rooms was next to kitchen/rubbish area and two cockroaches were sighted (we were move to another room). The second room developed a leak from the roof after heavy rain... Furthermore, no drinks were included in half board and we were not allowed to bring our own either - that is rather petty I thought.

Just returned from this hotel 8 days. Very international guests so nice not to be surrounded by fellow Brits. Children's play area needs updating as very tired (compared to what we are used to in the UK). That's the only complaint. Rooms lovely, food lovely, pools great, being so close to the sea great, kids disco fun, entertainment great. Wonderful place. Am new to Iberostar, lovely brand of hotel - we will go back. Would advise to go full board and not half board. Pay the extra and get all food and drink covered. We had an extra 600 Euro bill at the end of the holiday....

This is a nice, clean, hotel with good facilities, positioned right on the beach. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. We had a lovely view of the sea from our balcony. The food was excellent: more than enough variety, with much fresh fruit and a good salad bar also available. One of us has special dietary needs, and the kitchen was helpful in providing suitable meals. We enjoyed spending time in the spa when we had had enough sun. There was a large indoor swimming pool with lanes, and a smaller pool with warm water and various underwater jets, in addition to a sauna and a gym. These were available to guests at no extra cost. Whilst we enjoy going to a different hotel every holiday, this is a hotel we may well return to as it ticked all our boxes.

Lovely Hotel with close proximity to the beach
I have just spent 5 days here with a friend. The hotel is lovely as are all the staff. We had a comfortable room with everything that we needed. It is really close to the beach which was wonderful, the water is clear and the beach is really clean, fantastic for families with children. We were a bit disappointed with the food as there is only the buffet restaurant included in the all inclusive price as the other snack bar didn't open until 1st July and the a la carte restaurant next to the beach isn't included in the package which was a bit misleading, so consequently the food became a bit samey. In fact on our last evening we walked up the road and paid for a meal in a local restaurant. The entertainment team were great in the evenings putting on a great show. It might be a good idea to change the times of the entertainment in the piano bar as it finished either before or the same time as the main entertainment and it is nice to be able to sit and have a drink a bit later in the evening whilst listening to some music.

Excellent hotel by the beach.
The hotel is beautifully situated by the beach. The food is buffet based but all fresh, meat and fished cooked on the griddle. The range of food is excellent too; fresh fruit, pasta, salads and special dishes. There are two pool areas and and indoor pool and gyms. The in-house cycle hire has 100's in stock with a package for drinks and a snack for the ride. There are also organised rides of different levels if you wish. The staff are polite and efficient. There are not many Brits who stay there, the majority of customers being German or Swiss but it creates a good atmosphere and ensure good service! I rated the room comfort low as we had some significant noise from the aircon blowers.
