"Charming little rustic hotel that was refurbished by the current owners. They're very accommodating and you can tell they care about providing a good experience.
Room was small but not cramped, though larger rooms with more amenities are available as well. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was a little nervous about the shared bathroom arrangements for the smaller room but they were kept clean and always seemed to be available. No ac in my room could be a concern if it's particularly hot but the weather was pleasant and it wasn't a problem with the ventilation available.
Quiet neighborhood, no safety concerns and street parking wasn't an issue. Landscaping was well maintained and made the grounds feel private and welcoming.
Breakfast was just a selection of fruit and packaged items like pastries and banana bread but the selection was good and kept fresh and stocked. There's a commercial kitchen in the back that's in the process of being brought up to code so hopefully there will be more meal options in the future.
Very pet friendly (no fee!) with a nice relief area and a decent walk around the neighborhood with a park nearby.
Overall a great experience! Would stay here again"
"We arrived late afternoon. Walked down to the water to check out the view. The owners live on the water at this location. Kayaks available to use but we did not. Drove into town and ate at the Iron Rabbit. Delicious. Picked up a couple snacks at the grocery store across the street. Enjoyed a movie in bed back at the house. Great view of the water from the window upstairs from laying in bed. Really nothing to complain about but just to mention. Couldn’t find the lights or bug zapper switch for the porch. Had to manual flush the toilet every time, Breakfast was cereal in jars. We really enjoyed this spot and would definitely stay again."
"This property exceeded our expectations in every possible category. The house is stunning and meticulously maintained. The common spaces were welcoming and included an impressive trove of games. The outside grounds were well-groomed and ready for a nice sit or yard games. The room had lovely touches that complemented the historical architecture of the property."

8/10 Good
"The room was very clean and spacious. The proximity to the Talking cedar restaurant is walkable. The only con I have about this hotel is the flat pillows and small full size bed."
