Pretty town with plenty of interesting shops to browse. Several restaurants and coffee shops to choose from and easy walking distance from the hotel .

Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need. Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect.

we arrived late afternoon so all the shops were shut, quaint little town. We did find the palace cinema which was great.
Quiet, charming town with plenty of fantastic eating places and beautiful walks.
Deserves the title of food capital of North Yorkshire - the bread at the Blue Bird was just amazing
