Appear to be phased room improvements. 2nd flr suite Labor Day weekend was fully renovated, painted like yesterday! All new furniture, mattress+coverings, furniture, wall art. quiet HVAC. "WE BOOKED ON LINE AFTER A VERY LONG DAY OF DRIVING AND WE WERE TOLD BY THE RECEPTIONIST THAT WE HAD BOOKED THE ROOM WITH SMOKING AND ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY EXTRA FOR A NON-SMOKING ROOM, SO THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING BUT WE NEEDED A ROOM FOR THE NIGHT, BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING, STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, ROOM WAS IN THE BACK, IT WAS LATE AND IT FELT SOME WHAT UNSAFE AND OUT OF VIEW."

"This is a lovely historic hotel in the ideal location in downtown Durango. The two taverns with live music had good food and drinks but we mostly enjoyed the music. The whole hotel has such an elegant decor. We loved our stay and would recommend this hotel."

"We had a nice stay at Mancos Inn. It's conveniently located on main street and the staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in and check out was a breeze. We were in Mancos during a weekend and it can get a bit noisy with bands playing at the catina across the street, but things settled down around 9-10pm. We'll come back if we visit again!"
