"The front desk agent charged my card three separate times for the deposit. Each time, I told him the transaction already showed as “Approved,” but he insisted it had not gone through and continued running my card again. Once I got to my room, I checked my credit card account and confirmed that I had indeed been charged three times. I went back to the front desk to show him, and he simply shrugged and said the charges should “fall off in a few weeks,” which was very frustrating and unprofessional. We also were not informed about the breakfast hours or location during check-in. Thankfully, I went back to ask, otherwise we would have missed it entirely since breakfast is only served from 5–9 AM. To make matters worse, there was pubic hair on the toilet in the bathroom, which was extremely unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint. Lastly, the pool and jacuzzi were not operating, despite Expedia stating that they were available and that is the only reason we chose to pay $40 more than the competitor hotel as we were hoping for a soak after our very long trip."
