Beds were made but the sheets and the pillow cases were dirty and had some hair in it. Two small bars of soap was the only soap available, and a mini tube of shampoo/conditioner gel. Minimal food available for breakfast but was okay. There was a ladder in the hallway the whole time and garbages were not taken out in the breakfast area during our stay. Staff slept on premise in front office but were always available and very pleasant.

The bedding had noticeable stains all over and several hairs.The shower curtain looked like it hadnt been cleaned in awhile and had mildew stains.The walls were paperthin and we could hear people on the other side of the wall talking all evening. Also, the ultility room was wide open for hours and we could see piles of cleaning products, furniture all over the place. We wouldn't stay here again as the place is visibly rundown and has had minimal upkeep.

The manager is a maniac! Has NO business managing ANYTHING. He acted out on myself AND another customer same day. He gets bad reviews on YOUR EXPEDIA site. He does great harm foe Microtel, Wyndham Hotels Expedia and the city of Mankato. The other mistreated customer called the police. Don't know how that turned out. Also upcharged my card 50.00 and if not put back on my card IMMEDIATELY I will file fraud charge to USBank —they have been very effective at resolving such issues. I've also called my banker so they are aware. If matter not resolved promptly I'll put a lock on my card(s) Seriously questioning if I'll use Expedia again. Which you can see I've used numerous occasions. Besides saying OH I'm so sorry with your AI responder, actually DO something about it. READ NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON MICROTEL MANKATO MN.

Torn carpet, walls that had huge , unrepaired dents. Light bars over the beds; broken grids, 1\3 of bulbs not working. Bed skirts torn.
