"This is a beautifully and tastefully restored vintage property. The hosts are welcoming and multilingual. I highly recommend it. My only minor complaint was that I found it impossible to turn off the air conditioning at night - I don't like to sleep with AC. My solution was to pull out the room card from the power control and turn off the electricity for the room, but that meant we couldn't charge our phones. But that's minor, and I'm sure that if we'd said something the management would have...

"I had a great stay at Arabesque with my family. We had two rooms, one in each building. The two buildings are about 20 feet apart from each other. The rooms and buildings are unique and have a great old-city atmosphere. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms updated with good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was a feast with tons of local cuisine options! The only negative we experienced was that breakfast was running late on the morning we checked out. We parked in the free moat parking lot...

"Oh boy, what to say? The owner is very, very nice, and the place is right at the seafront, close to nice restaurants and the main sights in the city (it's a tiny city, though). However, it was very difficult to find, since it doesn't have a sign (is it a legal hospitality accommodation?), the public spaces are filthy and the private rooms, though reasonably clean, worn and in desperate need of renovation. For the adventurous traveller only. "
