Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
People uses walkways like porches, loud and smoky.Marijuana and incrnse through vents.
Says newly renovated, haha.No bathroom sink, had to shave and brush teeth in kitchen sink, kitchen atea had no trash receptacle. Unsanitary.
Insufficient parking, had to park far from stairs many times, at 70 yrs of age told downstairs was only for seniots over 75.
No communication.
Beds on metal boxes that when you kucked it or someone in another room kicked theirs sounded like thunder.
No closet, no where to hang clothes, had to lay on second bed.
Plug for coffee machine didnt work.
No smoking signs everywhere and people smoking everywhere coming out of every room.Uneven concrete at top of stairs near our door. At 70 and with a handicap sticker had to be extremely careful, but anyone could gall over it.
Worst, got up first morning there, no cold wayer, both of us nearly scalded ourselves in the shower. Left a note in office at 8, went out to celebraye ourc49th anniversary and when we got back at 8 pm not fixed and had to put up with someone trying to fix it for a couple if hours. Told nothing wrong with it, said way health dept saud it had to be. Bull, we finally got the nut to understand when we said we were calling either the police or the health dept. We love Manteand it is a shame to call this the Heart of Manteo. Sad when you can't even clean a tub. The beds did seem clean. Seemed like it was rented to a bunch of construction crews took up all the parking, partied andsmokedweed
