The Island Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay for our quick trip out of town! Our room was so clean and extremely well-maintained. It was really nice because it was away from all the in-season crowds but still close to the beaches and more touristy areas. The whole hotel has a lot of personality and really had We really, really liked it here and we definitely be back for a next trip to the Outer Banks!

We arrived late and they were very accommodating. We met the ladies next morning and everyone was so sweet. We will definitely be back again. I want to explore a lot more of manteo. Parking was easy and convenient. I will say if you come in late and you have big tires on your vehicle the gravel is very loud , lmao . We felt so bad for all the noise. Rooms were very clean and very comfortable.

Enjoyed my stay at island guest house and motel. The staff were super nice and extremely helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean and inviting. The entire property was clean. Amenity’s of the BYOB bar and fire pit area is inviting and so cute. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Love this cute little motel Very cozy and very friendly staff. Love the fire pit and tiki bar and the self serve coffee in the main house. Plus being pet friendly made this a perfect stay for us.

Check-in was easy and they worked with me when I arrived earlier than expected. The room was huge, clean, and more than adequate. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and will definitely be back. It's very convenient to the Outer Banks and Alligator River NWR so it's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, birders (like me!), and wildlife photographers.

Extremely clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly. Lots of nice places to eat nearby. Also close to downtown waterfront which is a nice place to shop and eat. Close to lots of beautiful places. Highly recommend to stay here!
