"We liked the enormous size of our room. Also, the room was very quiet as the street was quiet at night. The white sheets were nice. The thick white towels were lovely. There was no extractor fan or openable window in the bathroom so the shower steam (and other more unpleasant vapours) were trapped in the bathroom and therefore in the entire room. This is a major oversight in design. A second problem was that the iron was full of water and when I tried to wash it out it repeatedly, it kept expelling masses of black grit into the sink and so was unusable."

"Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but itโ€™s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great."
