1 Feb 2020In the beautiful hotel we moved to (Hotel Parador) there were toucans, monkeys and giant lizards right up close by our hotel suite window and in the hotel grounds.

"Great place to stay before visiting Manuel Antonio national park. Our room was probably the cheapest on the property and had no view, it's between the road and the lobby building. Restaurant on site (they offer you 25 % off because you stay there) but we didn't try it. We left very early in the morning. ..."

4 Aug 2019Great park. We hired a guide and spotted sloths, deer, howler monkeys, bats, bird life various snakes and frogs. You can finish your tour with a swim at the beach which is picture postcard beautiful.

11 Apr 2019A bit touristy but good place to learn to surf. Most accommodation seems to be on a main road that is a good 15-20 min walk from the beach.
