"We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. "Really well thought out B&B within easy walking distance to town. Fresh cooked breakfast choices each morning. But it was the staff that made this place just great! Diego! Thank you so much for being super helpful booking tours/buses whatever we asked help with and for having great general chats with. Rooms and mini apartment were nicely decorated. The only thing which was out of the B&B's control was the motorbike noise early and sometimes late, but we would stay here and again in a heartbeat"

"This is a wonderful, quiet getaway in the cloud forest! We booked a room last minute after our original accommodations didn’t work out and the owners were so accommodating, letting us check in early and taking care of everything (including dinnner!) Our family of 5 had a great time splashing in the pool, watching the rain, and playing with the friendly dog who visited our cabin often. The owners even booked us dinner reservations & a night tour of the Costa Rican wildlife. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful every morning. I can’t say enough great things about El Sol - would highly recommend!"

"A beautiful property with very friendly staff and a wonderful on-site restaurant! They provided a complimentary upgrade as we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. There were white-faced monkeys playing on our deck which we enjoyed. We highly recommend staying here for part of your Monteverde experience!"
