It was dirty from room to swimming pools. Needs to be fixed. No storage for clothes. Trying to get to boat pier was a mission. This is definitely not 5 stars. Left disappointed.

Not enough transport available. Waited 20 minutes on 2 occasions for transport to rom and 15 minutes on 3rd occasion Asked for room clean and turndown as towels needed changing and new shower gel needed but not received. We did not receive welcome drink. Did not feel 5 star experience Today we stay in 5 star in Patong and is more luxurious

Beautiful resort consisting mostly of villas alongside large pools or with their own little pool. Dining options are great including a seafood restaurant at the beach. Resort is both suitable for couples as well as families with friends.

Overall, a potentially amazing holiday destination for families let down by horrendous service. This resort is billed as a 5 star and, particularly during peak season, is extremely pricey compared to relative options in and around Phuket. As such this review carries a certain level of ‘entitlement’ which we feel is justified given the 5 star billing and price level. Pros: The large family pool layout is fantastic and the most alluring attraction of the property. We stayed in a pool-side villa with families in other villas around the pool and from this perspective we could not have wished for more. The facilities were excellent (the Splash Zone is great for families, particularly with very young children). The spa was amazing but pricey on a Thailand scale. The breakfast buffet was nice. Cons: Service was by far and away the major failing of the property, which unfortunately exacerbated minor issues into major ones without needing to (and major ones into crisis ones). The boat transfers were mis-reported and mis-communicated, they tried making us wait for an hour in the heat with 6 kids even though they had sent confirmation of an earlier transfer. Lots of waiting around to be taken to our rooms with luggage. Items included in the booking were not honoured. The quality of the food was just ok. Staffing was poor quality and there was no front of house manager to deal with anything. In summary, this could be a great property but the service quality was terrible.

Overall my stay the first few days were good, nothing bad until my last day! I left jewelry sitting on the table the night before and rushed the next morning to leave for my planned activity. When I came back my necklace and bracelet went missing! I sat at the lobby for over an hour for front desk to "investigate" but they said housekeeping did not see it? although their access cards were the only ones scanned??? Hotel did not even try to compensate. Terrible terrible management

Our stay was absolutely once in a lifetime and beautiful! Me and my husband celebrated our honeymoon at the resort and we are so glad that we did! Not only was the staff, very professional and welcoming. The facility was perfect for a first time coming to Phuket. The resort is self, is more secluded and perfect for relaxing and getting away from the city, since it was both of mine and husband’s first time to Thailand, we wanted to explore the facility had amazing excursions and options to go and explore the town we absolutely loved staying there and can’t wait to bring friends and family next time to stay.

Lovely place, quit and comfortable but they have to hire much more staff. The staff problem caused long waiting time, and that the pool area was dirty.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay in and the staff was very friendly. Restaurant food was amazing and also the view . Only thing was transportation off and own the island was a bit difficult to navigate or reserve shall I say Especially at night. Always ensure you have baht to pay the boatmen. Very sexy and secluded resort !

I would not recommend staying here…YET! The hotel has great potential, they just aren’t there yet. The main lobby area, pool, and restaurant are very nice with gorgeous views of the beach, but much of the hotel is still being built and sadly, that was the view from my room :( the service was not 5 star, the staff are friendly and attentive but really inexperienced - for the price you pay, you’d expect much more. Most nights took about 1-2Hours for our food to arrive (in dribs and drabs and most of the time it was not what we ordered) they offered a few buffet dinners during our stay (without telling guests beforehand) to alleviate the pressure on staff but the buffets were not great and very expensive!! And when the buffet was on, you could not order off the menu which was not ideal if you couldn’t afford the buffet! During our stay, a large number of guests chose to leave early and were offered refunds due to the unorganised service, which is a shame for the hotel but also justified for the guests. I think in time, they will be a 5 star hotel, but until then - it is not quite worth the money. It is also important to note that the island is very isolated and far from the mainland and Phuket town. The hotel do not tell you the boat times until after you have booked - there are three boat times to and from the island each day and if you come back of leave outside those times then there is a small fee - which is not too bad but you can’t really leave at night as it is too dark!

Considering being 5* hotel, they are untrained, poorly managed, execution was non existent. Pros: New, Stylish Cons: 1) extremely slow service. Example: beer and wine to the room took over 2 hours. No ice in the room, it took over 45 minutes to get ice. Restaurant servers are super slow to take order. 2) to get around the place with luggage you need their golf cart service and it can take anywhere between 5-20 minutes for them to come to you. So many times I ask for golf cart and they don’t come and we end up walking to the lobby and there is 3-6 golf carts and staff just looking at their phones. 3) no access to anywhere such as 7-11 or other types of restaurant. You will be stuck here so be prepared. If they have only Buffett, you are stuck with that menu for the dinner even if you aren’t that hungry. 4) One of our room was not ready at 7pm. Can’t pay cash, only through the room. 5) We rented 2 properties for $270 a night but we got 2 different types of room. One had an outdoor pavilion and other was just standard.

What a terrible stay. The pool is extremely dirty; we saw lizard swim in the pool… We killed more than 20 mosquitos in our room, and the non-villa room is very small. You can see flys and bugs on top of food when eating breakfast…. It was one of the dirties hotels I’ve ever stayed.

The concept of rooms built around swimming pools was really nice and enjoyable. The room is very modern and minimalistic but lacks a table and chairs where to work for those who intend to do so.

What I and my husband loved most about this resort was the friendly and warmth service of all the staff there who we came to be in contact with. Despite, the resort was just during the pre-opening phase, but the quality of service was just outstanding, much more than what we'd expected from a local brand property. It was just superb.

I was planning for a surprised birthday present for my wife. Since I know that she has been bored staying home and how much she loves traveling exploring new hotels and places, in Thailand and abroad. I came across Island Escape, and thought Wow! can't be any better as a perfect present for her. And frankly, i do love to get out of the house and escape to Island Escape. It turned out to be as what i've expected. The resort was beautifully done, very remote and it has just recently opened. And we felt it was safe and Covid free. We just loved the place and the trip. Highly recommended.

I had never heard of Island Escape before, then I went to search online to see if any hotel or resort are open, as I had no idea, but had to make a trip because I had an urgent trip to Phuket, then I came across this resort. And it was amazed with the photos and the price was so sensible, can’t resist of wanting to check it out, thus combined the this trip and leisure. My experience there was not disappointing at all, rather was so glad that I had chosen to stay there. I would recommend those of you who prefer nature, beach and peace on an island, to check this one out.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel. Transfer mit dem Speedboat von Phuket inklusive, dauert ca. 15 Minuten Fantastisches Essen im Restaurant und beim private Dinner am Strand. Caddie Service nach Wunsch. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft mit ,,einsame Insel Charakter". Tolle Hotel und Pool Anlage. Überaus freundliche Mitarbeiter! Minuspunkt wofür das Hotel aber nichts kann, ist die Inseln. Es gibt kaum/keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, nur 1 einheimisches ,,Restaurant". Das Essen im Hotel ist lecker aber sehr teuer und ziemlich kleine Portionen. Getränke gibt es bis auf 1 Liter Wasser leider auch keins dies muss man alles zu Hotelpreisen kaufen. Insgesamt aber ein wunderschönes Resort für 2-3 Tage.

Härligt hotell, bra frukost, god mat och drinkar. Fin strand och möjlighet till att låna SUP eller hyra kajak. Servicen på restaurangpersonalen var rätt kass då de undvek att gå fram att ta beställningar och hellre plockade disk eller pratade med varandra. Det var det ända negativa.

Flotte rom. Vi hadde rom i 2 etg mot hage og det var veldig god standard på rom og rengjøring. Hotellet ligger veldig fint til og det var veldig fredelig. Beregn at ting koster en del mere på en øy. Benyttet oss ikke av massasje på anlegget. Veldig god mat på restaurantene, men ansatte hadde ikke helt kontroll på serveringen. Brukte lang tid på å få mat, når maten endelig kom på bordet så måtte en vente på bestikk. Unødvendig frustrasjon under middag og når en skulle bestille noe i baren ved bassenget. Venter 20 minutter på å bestille en bøtte med øl. Burde hatt flere folk på jobb. Når vi gav tilbakemelding på service så ble det tatt affære fra den Svenske hotell sjefen. Veldig flott anlegg, men beregn noe tid på transport om en skal inn til fastlandet på aktiviteter
