"I have stayed here quite a bit in the past month off and on. Trips to Dubuque. I like it. I'm glad I found it to be honest. The staff are AWESOME and HELPFUL! The hotel so cute how they have it decorated. They include breakfast in the rate. Grab and go kinda thing if you like, but they have a waffle maker, cereal, donuts, juice/coffee etc. (24-hour coffee!) Anytime I've ever needed anything, they've been more than helpful and decent about it. Peosta is a quiet/safe area in general I feel. What I need is a safe area, clean stuff, decent rates and people that are decent. I don't care about a pool etc. The owners and staff alike, are good, decent people. Besides the staff being awesome, I've met some pretty cool people who've also stayed here. I enjoy that it's not right in Dubuque. I've paid more for much, much worse!"

"Hotel Galena is a quaint, quiet inn with a very friendly staff. The breakfast room offers a variety of items and wonderful coffee. Free parking is available, and EV parking is available for a slight fee. The rooms have plenty of space. The bed is very comfortable and cozy. This hotel is so close to many attraction sites and shopping venues. Five plus stars in my book!"

And it was affordable. Lovely. If we return to Galena, we will stay there. Absolutely zero complaints."
