"We had a room at the back of the hotel in a separate building. It was clean, well maintained and comfortable. You walk across the road to a lovely beach, and there is car parking. Short walk to the village centre. Would happily stay there again."
"Very simple and quick check in. The room was very clean. We had a kettle in the room but had to go to the dining room to collect other items too make hot drinks. Plenty of parking in a quiet area with a buffalo restaurant next door."
"A block of modern apartments, set into a muse area. It far, far exceeded my expectations for facilities, comfort and cleanliness.
It's in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the city, near the square. The main museum can be reached on foot, the cathedral is very close.
The staff were fantastic too.
Honestly, for quality of the room and the value for money, plus the location, this is an amazing place to stay."
"Sadly this was not good. Can’t understand the wonderful reviews. The carpet in room 121 was absolutely disgusting. Badly stained and even threadbare patch. Certainly not what you would expect on a 4* property and not at 115 euros. Bartender was sitting at a table talking, when asked for service he said he would be along but continued to leave us waiting. The restaurant had a limited menu also so after the fiasco with drinks we walked into town-lots of choice of restaurants and bars. The state of the carpet in the room creeped me out. Will definitely not be back. Stayed at many mercure hotels as we travel through France & Spain 4 times a year. This one really lets the group down "
"Room had wall mounted tv removed from fixed wall frame with temporary cables running to a tv sat on the dressing table which also obscured the mirror. Bathroom sliding door was broken. Crisps/chips were left on the floor under the edge of the bed from previous guest. Complained to reception who initially said there was nothing wrong and why were we complaining as the room had a tv.
We asked for another room and were told it was not possible as the hotel was full when in fact it was actually only about 50% occupied.Booked this hotel as result of it being called “fabulous” on hotels.com web site. "
