However, since the change of managing structure, they have implemented a list of cost cutting exercises. The reception, children’s playroom, spa, stream room, Japanese bath, the store at the back of the bakery (whichever turned a real estate agent and now vacant) had all but disappeared. There is with dampness across the corridor. Certain lights in the swimming area are not operational and corrosion are seen in some fittings. "The hotel was a stop over on a train journey from Geneve Aeroport to Savognin… the long way via the Furka Oberalpass. Our room was simple and just perfect. Beautifully quiet for a good nights sleep. The welcome was warm, and dinner in the restaurant lovely… All staff were super friendly. "

"Great hotel, parking in front and right next to skibus (train and bus) which comes very regularly. Walkable to the town, quiet, close to train coming in from aigle. Fantastic breakfast too and comfy beds"

"Great enjoyable experience in this beautifully designed new hotel. We truly loved the hospitality they offer. After a very warm welcome, we were personally escorted to our room, where everything was explained—no need to read manuals. We were also offered coffee in the lovely coffee corner opposite the room. The baths were the most amazing we have ever experienced. In today’s digital world full of self-service, we greatly appreciated this personal touch. After several days of hiking, it was the perfect place to feel comfortable and relaxed. This hotel is definitely on our short list to return to!"

"Video checkin, so no human on site. My room was actually two rooms. The TV was in one on a small desk, with a single dining chair. The bed was in the other. That was it. Nowhere to sit comfortably, nowhere to put things, no way to watch TV comfortably and no human presence to ask for help. Only one plug socket in the room with the bed. Only one towel in the bathroom. It’s a budget hotel and I’m not complaining about outdated decor, but the room felt like it had been stripped of everything. It’s definitely gone downhill since I last stayed here, where it was outdated but fine. The bathroom was fine - small, but reasonably designed with places to put and hang toiletries. "
