"Have stayed at this hotel few times before and love the setting and lovely staff.
Sadly though the venue seems to be neglected and gone downhill so can no longer recommend. There is visible lack of maintenance on the rooms and exterior. It is pricey and so losing its competitiveness with other nearby hotels. definitely cannot recommend opting for the breakfast which has really gone downhill. This morning the food in bain maries was cold and pastries definitely not fresh. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and room clean and one can sleep well as it is so quiet. Great to wake to bird song. Finally , the sign for the hotel entry is not lit and hard to spot ."
