Not the closest if you want to walk into town but the on site pub is great for dining so you don’t need to go any else to eat in the evening.

Great location good room but the wifi the television options and the inability to stream to the tv via our phone apps they need to update the televisions the choice of programs was the ABC AND THE RECEPTION ON legacy media was no visible images plus the bar choices for wine was limited and expensive . I would stay again if the tvs where updated to enable apps and if the venue had a better wine list

We have stayed here 3 times we like it so much. In previous years we stayed 11 nights and this year 5 nights. Our villa is beautiful and the hotel restaurant is excellent with great food and friendly service. The resort is very close and walkable to the main shopping street. We have good parking, and a lawn and garden front and back of the villa. The only downside on this stay this year was the over watering with sprinklers front and back such that it was difficult to use the front or back lawns being too wet, or could not sit outside with the sprinklers on. Of couse the gardens/lawns need water, but why so much and so often. It was particularly annoying (as the gardener could tell from our expression but in vain). Previous years were better and less frequent watering with respect for residents being able to use outside in comfort.

The space was good and clean but disappointed no Airconditioning in the bedroom. Was super hot when I stayed and just didn’t cope cooling into bedroom. Sitting area fine but needed cool most to sleep. Also because it was hot the swimming pool was full of stunned bees which freaked out the kids and made swimming almost impossible. Perhaps a warning sign needed.

Friendly service. Clean room just as described. 15 mins walk from town centre. Great pub/restaurant on site. No breakfast options at the resort but easy walk to cafes in the village .

My stay was disappointing. I expected the resort to be quiet but it wasn't. Several bands played on Friday night and I was in the villa next to the Bandroom. I couldn't sleep. Expedia didn't say anything when I booked, and the resort staff said nothing when I checked in. And when I complained all that was said was "Sorry about that." If I'd known I wouldn't have booked. Also, when I checked in the staff suggested they had single rooms available rather than a villa. So, either that wasn't uploaded to Expedia or... I spent a lot of money for a very poor night's sleep.

Great resort in a great location!
Had an awesome stay at the River Resort, loved the chalet style accommation, really modern, spacious and very clean! Bar is busy with a nice atmosphere and really good food. Would highly recommend for families or groups!

Beautiful resort! Will definitely be back :)
We had an amazing stay! We cannot fault anything. The check in was smooth, friendly smile from the receptionist. Our room was sparking clean! Very spacious. Spa bath was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and had lovely crispy white sheets. There were enough, pots pans, cutlery etc It was very private, no staff wondering around, surprisingly quiet. The pool was big and clean. The restaurant’ River’ had lovely food. Definitely recommend eating there. The location was perfect and close to everything that we needed. We will definitely stay here again, thank you !

Everything you could want or need for a great stay
Another great stay at Margaret River Resort. This time we upgraded to a Villa (which slept 6 although there were only 3 of us) and could not be happier. It was large and spacious and had everything you would want for an enjoyable stay. Every cupboard seemed to reveal an item or product that added to our stay - the highlight being the discovery of the coffee-pod machine and milk frother. It was ideal base for an exploration of the Margaret River and with so many natural attractions in the area it was hard to find the time to fit in a few wineries - but we managed it and were not disappointed. Looking forward to a return visit in the not too distant future

Great stay!
A very good stay at the place. Very convenient location to move around the Margaret River region. Parking was great as well as we could park our car right in front of the apartment door. a kitchenette which I didnt know was there until we checked in - so that was a pleasant surprise. The washrooms could have been a bit cleaner but overall the condition was good. Definitely a recommended place for family visits.

Easy parking, close to town centre, there was a power outage which we received an email about however we totally forget and there was no reminder, a note in the room would of been handy due to waking up at 8am not being able to have a warm shower or a hot drink was quite frustrating.

Easy check in/ out, plenty of rooms on the grounds away from the tavern so noise wasn’t a problem. Comfy beds and parking right out the front of the room. Great spot to central ourselves when exploring the area.

Staff were really friendly and check in was a breeze. The room was exactly as described, basic but its all we needed for one night. The restaurant menu is fantastic and the food was delish. Highly recommend eating there.

This motel is totally feral, but completely fine! Rooms are old school BIG, just dated. Linen on bed was a little like bandages (starchy, thin and hot), but the bed itself was comfortable. Be under no illusion this motel will be luxury or fancy, but there is plenty of space, free parking and close to town. Would stay again if needed.
