A great place to stay
What a lovely place to stay. Owners make you feel welcome and nice touches welcoming you to Margaret River. Enomous bed, lovely toiletries, good parking.

No complaints really, just thought it was odd not having anywhere to wash dishes. Didn’t want to wash in the bath basin as was scared would break something. Overall great location and very clean.

Nice place but no staff to help you
The guesthouse is situated just a short walk away from the main street in MR, and only a couple of minutes from a supermarket. Checking at the property is rather interesting, as you just show up with no one manning reception (in fact, the entire time we were there it was never manned) and pick up an envelope to get the key to your room. if you need to get in touch with anyone, you gotta use your own data and phone, if you have trouble entering the room, which is annoying when you come from abroad. We also explicitly communicated about a bed for our child to be provided and it wasn't there when we arrived so we had to call the owner. Other than that a nice place for a short stay in the area.

Thank you for your review.As you hadn't provided your phone number we were unable to call you as you were clearly checking in late.The office is manned 8 hours a day but we often pop out to do other duties, we are only a small company and our staff are multi-tasking. WE ARE AVAILABLE 24HRS A DAY.You booked a unit for 2 people but showed up with 3 having already been informed we could accommodate 3 persons.

Location is on point! We walked everywhere we needed to go in town. Aircon and smart TVs made it comfortable. Floors needed a mop and a couple of the stove burners weren't working. But everything else was clean and in good working order. It was a joy to stay there!

The hotel was lovely - very clean and comfortable. I did find the non-contact check in and check out experience very off-putting. Did not see anyone in the reception area for our entire stay, even though they had specifically asked us to return a form to the reception desk. We had to help a couple of overseas access the WIFI because English was not their first language and they were baffled by the instructions. It is rather difficult to email the desk if you don't have the facility on your phone!

Hi Gordon.Many thanks for your review.You may be aware there is a virus in our community so in the interest of our staff and customers we have kept the reception door closed. Our staff were in reception and dealing with our guests throughout the Window, You haven't said why this was "off-putting" we have an outside phone that can be used at anytime to contact us outside of hours.I guess some customers are more needy than others

A rather dated hotel, with a single airconditioning unit for both the main area and the separate bedroom. wifi use is troublesome as you need to contact the property via email to get wifi login details. The only upside is that the property is relatively near amenities such as supermarket and restaurants, and has free parking.

Excellent location. Very close to the middle of town and only a short walk from restaurants, shops and the local pub. Bed was uncomfortable and you could hear everything from the adjoining rooms. On our 2nd night we couldn't sleep due to a party next door. This is not the type of accommodation you would expect this behavior. Disappointed that there was no free bottled water in the fridge.

Thankyou for your positive comments regarding our location Our beds offer 5 star comfort so it is incorrect to say they are uncomfortable, they're just not what your used to. Why didnt you mention the 'party' to us, we could have helped if here was indeed any noise ? We dont provide plastic bottled water for obvious reasons, most people bring threre own bottles these days. Hope i havent popped your bubble !!

Plenty of room for 2-4 people. Good kitchen for making your own meals. Comfortable with good facilities. Unfortunately, wifi was not working for the entire complex. The frig was noisy, especially at night.

many thanks for your review and pleased you enjoyed the self contained apartment. We have now reolved the NBN broadband problem. Regarding the fridge, you had changed the temperature settings to coolest which meant the full of food fridge was strugling to get to the coolest temperature.

Well equipped and conveniently located.
Stayed in the two bedroom apartment. Sean was very warm and welcoming and the apartment was well equipped and spacious. The accommodation itself is a short walk from the supermarket and a park. Any part of the Margaret river main strip can be walked within 10 minutes. If you’re looking to stay in Margaret River you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t check availability here first.

Loved our stay. Only thing I found uncomfortable was the fire alarm light is right above your head when sleeping. This woke me up several times per night for it is pretty bright.
