Generally a nice hotel, which I had picked mainly for its low price and location. The room was a reasonable size with two single beds and ensuite bathroom. The bed was not all that comfortable and felt like it had collapsed a little near the head end. It had some very thick blankets which i'm sure would be lovely in winter, but in late august/early september with it being 20 degrees outside it was too much. Our room was on the top floor up 2 flights of stairs, I had a large suitcase and it was a little bit of a pain to carry it as there was no lift.
Breakfast was included. It was a basic self service buffet and consisted of a reasonable selection of cereals, breads, cold meats, cooked frankfurters and ham, cheese, vegetables (peppers and tomatoes), porridge, fruit juice and tea/coffee.
There was free wifi but it was a bit slow and unreliable, but for the most part it did work. It was encrypted with the very outdated WEP technology which suggests it had probably not been upgraded in 10 years time. I used free wifi at a lot of other places on the island, including on a tour bus and all were faster and more reliable than the hotel's wifi.
There was an outdoor pool, but on checking in (on august 30th) we were told it would only be open until the end of August. It did feel that the weather was more than good enough this year for it to have been kept open a little bit longer.
