When we finally figured out where it was The front door was locked. We couldn’t figure out how to get in and weren’t able to talk to anyone. The biggest problem was lack of communication and language barrier. There were a lot of things that we were not told. Such as how to get into the building or contact the owner to let us...

"Since Palermo is known for its gorgeous architecture, it seemed fitting to stay in a historic hotel. The Wagner is old-school large, beautiful, and gracious. I’m so happy the owners are preserving it. Staff are incredibly welcoming- not “stuffy”. Bar is a dark, cozy space to relax. Breakfast is the best we had in Italy. Robes are so appreciated for the traveler dealing with a limited carryon wardrobe. Location is fantastic for walking to sites, shopping, restaurants… my only request is to have in-room coffee/tea setup. "
