"This hotel is one of the cleanest and best maintained properties we’ve stayed at. We did not swim but we stopped to check out the pool and it was crystal clear. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great as far as continental breakfasts go with multiple hot options and the dining room was very clean. We spoke with the woman who was in charge of breakfast both days we were there to let her know that we thought she was doing a great job and you could tell that she took pride in her job. Even the repair man on his way to fix a bathtub was friendly and seemed to enjoy what he was doing. We will absolutely stay here again if we are in the area."
"It is an older property, so it looks a bit dated/worn on the outside. But, the rooms have been remodeled with tile and vinyl floors (no nasty carpet, yay!) and the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Fridge, microwave, and flat screen TV (with DirectTV) all appeared fairly new and all were in good working order. Free breakfast is what used to be called "continental" and included coffee, tea, juice (apple & orange), variety of cereals, bagels & toast, apples, oranges, granola bars, yogurt, applesauce. Wifi available but somewhat spotty, which was noted by the staff at check-in. Did not cause a problem for me, but I was there for leisure not business. Very close to Shawnee National Forest.
Great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area!"
