We live the quietness of the hotel . The beds were comfortable but could use additional lighting brighter lights, higher toilet and coffee maker. A stand inside bathroom like a shelf for personal items.. the tub was slippery almost fell.. just a few suggestions as we travel a lot but we would definitely stay here again!!

We loved the vibe of this historic hotel and its Swamp Fox Bar. We loved the nearby niche places to eat - The Wooden Pickle, Macado’s (pronounced macka-doos), and Sister’s Cafe. We were only in town for the weekend, but will stay there again for more sight seeing, dining, etc.
