"Island View Inn had very nicely appointed rooms, beautiful grounds and pool and nice views of the ocean. The rooms were large and comfortable and we had a nice patio with view of the ocean. The staff were helpful with recommendations for dinner. I appreciated the coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. My only suggestion would be to offer at least a continental breakfast in the lobby, as there were no options to pick up a breakfast nearby. We had to drive into Rockland to find breakfast options. Otherwise, great stay and I would definitely stay there again!"

"There was a coffee maker in the room but I didn’t see any cups, coffee or sugar/creamer. Also we were on the ground floor and the noise from the second story was loud. Thankfully there was no overnight party in the room above us!"

"Have stayed twice now at Glen Cove Inn with my family and once again we enjoyed every minute of it. The staff is super friendly. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The pool was clean and well taken care off. The breakfast on the deck was really great with a nice variety to choose from and the coffee was nice and hot. We will definitely stay again in the future."

"We were greeted warmly at reception and upon questioning about restaurants nearby, a few were recommended and we chose one. We were impressed with the room cleanliness. Upon returning for the evening, we sat outside for a while in front of the fire pit, a nice amenity. The breakfast was also superb for its content, and the service person was very attentive. The other staff in the hallways were also cordial. We will return if we're in the area again."

"Beautiful inn in a safe quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown Rockland. Spacious clean room, tasteful decor, friendly owners. Especially enjoyed the coffee machine and breakfast options in the morning. Perfect spot for a fun Maine weekend!"
