"We were really happy with our experience at the Palmer House. The room was really nice and the hotel was in walking distance to Millennium Park, Grant Park, shopping, etc. We were dining and a manager came up just to say hi and find out if we were happy (we were). He started talking about how Palmer House invented the brownie and gave us brownies to try (delicious!). This was Lollapalooza weekend and he clearly had a lot to do - he still took the time to give individual attention. Very impressed with the service. The Lockwood Room is also gorgeous. It’s a great place to grab drinks. (And for coffee addicts like me, there is Starbucks on the property.) Very happy with our experience - perfect from start to finish. We will be staying here again. "

"The stay so far has been great, but we attempted to order in room dining which, according to the menu, is available until 5AM, but were advised by the front desk staff that we would not be able to order food for at least 40 minutes while the kitchen was “cleaned”. No other solutions were provided and we were very disappointed in this interaction. "
