"We stayed in the Rhubarb room and lived the complete kitchen with a huge wet bar! Also having a coffee table and comfortable chairs/sofa was nice. Plenty of beds (5) for most families. The check in process was slightly confusing. Read the email carefully. The entry door was tough to find but it is right by the Restaurant du Banneret. The location was perfect, right by the Chateau. "All staff made us feel very welcome and no question was too much trouble for them. Suggestions were also made to allow us to save money. Great location, a short walk from the main train station and only a few blocks from the old town area. We used the Bern Welcome ticket to take a tram from almost right outside the hotel to the Gurtenbahn and had a lovely lunch at the top and rode the Rodelbahn Had a lovely time in Bern and would stay here again."
