"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. I couldn’t remember if this was a pay at property or if we had prepaid so I asked the guy who told me we owed €75. "The farmhouse was absolutely lovely, in a beautiful peaceful woodland setting with a lake close by and views looking out over farmland. The property was very well kept, clean and really well equipped. Michel, the owner was so kind and helpful to us, going above and beyond to make our trip special. Will definitely stay here again."

"Really nice hotel with loads of charm and character. No actual parking, but there's a multi storey car park opposite and cheaper than most. As the hotel is old there are no elevators and the steps could be quite challenging if you have issues. Having said that, if you can mange the stairs the rooms were really nice. We ate there also and the restaurant is really good. Not the cheapest, but great quality in a wonderful setting and is great for a treat."
