"Short but pleasant stay. A great location if you have a car as there’s easy parking. About a 30 minute walk into town centre. Lots of great restaurants, art galleries and antique stores in Honfluer."
"Superb hotel in every way. It is on the expensive side, especially for some of the wine, but everything is of the highest of standards.
Excellent golf course, played 2 rounds, greens were as good as it gets, very true and good speed. I was lucky as they had to move to temporary greens for 2 days while they treated them...I wouldn't have been pleased if I hadn't been able to play having booked the hotel for the golf!
Our room (#419) was very nice but we had to ask for a fan as it did become very warm when the window was closed.
All in all an absolute treat to stay at this hotel and we hope to be able to return in the future."
"Great place to stay. Fairly central location, and having a restaurant downstairs was helpful if you're getting into town late. The room was a decent size, an elevator big enough for 2 with luggage (which is not always guaranteed in older cities) and a helpful staff. Biggest gripe was not having a second trash can in the room besides the tiny one in the bathroom... which is about as minor a complaint as you can have, really. Definitely pleased with our stay."
"We loved how close the hotel was to the centre of Honfleur. It was the main reason for booking. It was so good to leave the car parked safely at the hotel and be able to walk into town for a few drinks and then be able to stroll back home in the late evening sunshine.
Our room was comfortable with a large bed. My pillow was a bit too hard though.
The room - 106 - was at the front of the property. If you are a light sleeper, try to get a room that faces the pool at the rear as the noise from the road was quite noticeable early in the morning.
Also a kettle would have been great and some larger cups too. Not everyone wants a just espresso all of the time."
"Hotels.com said that reception closed at 20.00 but it closed at 19.00! Fortunately we arrived at the same time as some other late arrivals who phoned someone and found their room card under the outside ash tray....ours was there too. Unfortunately the details were incorrect so it took us ( and several friendly people) a long time to find our room. The whole site was almost empty and only just starting for the season. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. When we met the receptionist the following morning she was very apologetic. We feel that better information about the Adonis should be provided.
