Riad with great location but that’s it!
We stayed in three other Riads in Morocco and this was our least favorite. We were expecting breakfast to be included but was told that breakfast was an extra charge of 10 euros which equates to $12.22 per day, per person. The person was not that diplomatic when telling us that we had an option when booking on Expedia. I told him that there was no option given and their website specifically said breakfast included. I did not continue with the issue with him. We dropped our bags and went to the market. We arrived back at the Riad later and were told that we could have breakfast in the morning, I told the new person thank you but we had made other arrangements. The staff members were very pleasant with the exception for our greeter on the first night when the breakfast issue arose. The room was clean but there was bad, what seemed like a sewer smell especially in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The towels and washcloths had obviously been washed but were quite dingy/grayish. The water was hot for one shower only. We had personal contact with the owners of the other three Riads but the owners of this one was not present , that we saw, and we were there for 3 nights.
