THIS IS IT!
Lot's of good choices but this place has it all. Between the Medina and great restarants, with beautiful architecture, luxurious accommodations and a superlative staff. Stop going crazy looking at places and book here - you are guaranteed to love it. BIG BONUS - the food is outstanding. Great chef. Eat here.

Excellent experience, minor niggles
We had a very good family holiday (mother and 2 adults) at Riad Zolah. We went at a peak period (Easter) so prices were very high, but the location and service were spot on. As the location is brilliant for the old city and all the local souks and attractions (i.e. medersa) so shopping only a few mins away as well as the main square. A note to make although very convenient, the taxi from the airport will only drop you off on the entrance to Moussina and it's another 5-10min walk to the Riad. I believe all the Riads are like this and same if you want to venture outside the main souks (we only did this a few times). The hotel made up rooms twice a day which is excellent, once after breakfast and again when out for dinner. Very nice touch and our room was at the top and looked perfect. Only issue for my mother was the 3 flights of narrow stairs, it's fine for any other adults (although was a little breathless for me), a room was offered downstairs which was kind. Breakfast upstairs on the terrace is lovely and always lots of food (they made us omelettes when we asked) and the terrace has nice sunbeds for relaxing. They offer a mobile which we thought was if we got lost, but is actually for room service. Once we figured out, the likes of Abdul, Omar were excellent in bringing us mint tea to our rooms, ordering breakfast etc. The service is very good in taking you to restuarants late in the winding alleys, and they even pick up up from the restaurant and walk you back and making bookings on our behalf. Some small niggles, we had to keep asking for the water bottles to be replenished daily, and the hot water pressure took a 5 mins of standing in the shower to come on at times. but offset by great service and even offering us late checkout at 4pm and giving us a new room to relax and shower before our flight. For this service, location and great moroccan experience I would recommend this Riad.

We stayed 7 nights at Riad Zolah and really enjoyed it. We recommend the Riad zu travellers, who feel comfortable with arabic city centers (small, dark and labyrinth-like streets). The Riad is really really quiet - no sounds of the outside chaotic city life can be heard. The Riad itself is well organized, clean and beautifully decorated. The rooftop as well is precious and perfect for enjoying the sun.

Riad Zolah

Herzlichen Dank.
