This property was marvelous. It’s a very local home in Marseille with lovely unique features. Mlle Andree is a kind and gracious host. We entirely enjoy meeting locals as we travel and this stay truly met that expectation. Plus, our apartment was quiet, clean and comfortable. Mlle Andre brought fresh and homemade pastries to us each evening that we could enjoy as an afternoon snack or as breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend this property. A couple notes…..a cab from the airport was 80Euros. Checking around, that was appropriate. As you arrive, you will find a tall, green, metal gate at the end of the drive. Just ring the alarm on the right side of the gate and Mlle Andre will open the gate right away. We brought our own hair drier and electrical adapters. Being from the US, all our plugs were the wrong size. The room is stocked with a small fridge with water and juice, a hot pot, a coffee machine and tea, coffee and hot cocoa. Should you and your family need to place to stay in Marseille, we would highly recommend this property.

Déception

Nous avions réservé suite à la lecture des avis… le logement exigu est acceptable, sans plus, mais loin des éloges que nous avions pu lire. Mobilier en mauvais état (chaises branlantes, mini frigo bruyant que l’on est obligé de débrancher pour dormir , chauffage bain d’huile à brancher car le convecteur en place ne fonctionne pas…) Petit déjeuner: à disposition une cafetière à dosettes mais les viennoiseries sont déposées la veille, et le pain non fini le 1er jour nous a été resservi le lendemain. Comble du comble: il faut laver soi-même ses tasses dans le lavabo de la salle de bain… sans torchon à disposition Le prix est beaucoup trop élevé par rapport à la prestation! Aucun bip du portail n’est confié à l’arrivée : il faut sans cesse demander à la propriétaire l’ouverture du portail et l’appeler avant de rentrer lorsque l’on est à l’extérieur!!! Seul point positif: pas de bruit

This was a wonderful place. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The house is an old farm in Marseilles. Their is a bedroom and another small room with a twin bed. The gardens are beautiful and fragrant. The hostess is kind and extremely helpful. We arrived very late because of a delayed flight and she helped us settle in. The place is close to Vieux Port - about 20 minutes by car and 30 minutes to the airport.

Dueña muy hospitalaria pero la estancia no estaba muy limpia y nos teníamos que lavar las tazas del desayuno en el lavabo. Además no hacen la habitación (se supone que es un hotel...). Mal indicado. Lo bueno es que se podía aparcar dentro.

Calme et accueillant

Très beau cadre au calme dans un mas. Il y a des arbres et beaucoup de végétation, on ne se croirait pas en ville. L'accueil est chaleureux et sympathique. Il ne fait pas trop chaud à l'intérieur de la maison c'est parfait.

Sehr ruhig; unschlagbar preiswert; recht weit zur City, aber Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück und Bus vor der Tür; man kann sich Tee/Kaffee machen. "Wirtin" umständlich, aber freundlich. Es gab viele Mücken. Frühstück ok.
