"No notice was provided prior to arrival of heavy construction ongoing with the property. Staff was exceptionally rude on the phone prior to arrival and during the stay. Upon entering the room the surfaces were covered in drywall dust from the construction. There was paint and plaster on the floor. Old food that had not been cleaned behind the night stands. The bathtub/shower drain did not flow, so as you took a shower the tub would fill quit quickly. Went to ask about having it looked at and waited for over 30-minutes to have someone finally come to the desk and say they could not help with the issue and would need to talk to someone else. The mattress in the room did not have a protector on it so it was the bare mattress with a sheet over it which seemed unsanitary. The construction activities going on left construction materials and tools throughout the main lobby and hallways to the elevators. During the day access to the elevator and pool were essentially blocked off by the workers. While traveling through the hallway it was necessary to step over the materials and tools to make it anywhere and made getting through with kids difficult. While using the pool the workers were staring into the pool room from the hallway which was uncomfortable while children were swimming. The pool room had some broken tiles and sharp edges around it. I am generally understanding about construction activities but this was extremely mismanaged and unprofessional. "
