Baymont by Wyndham Newark at University of Delaware
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed 3 nights in August and loved the quiet location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, and location, accessible to businesses and eateries in Newark. I would like to stay there again, especially if UD is not in session, when the surroundings are so quiet."
"Friendly check-in and checkout. Our room was very clean and quiet on the third floor. The whole hotel is maintained very well and it’s very clean. Our room had an odd layout, though with the TV directly above the sofa which was odd. Beds are very comfortable and there’s a full kitchen and big bathroom, but the shower is small. Complementary wash and dryer on the 11th floor with a few of each supplied. Breakfast was great. They were scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, make your own waffles, and many other food items. Breakfast area has lots of room to sit and it’s also very well maintained. I knew about the parking ahead of time so we just parked in the parking lot on the corner of 12th and market which is $24 a night/$25.20 with the surcharge total per night. We had no issues parking there. There are garages within a block around the hotel if you would prefer that, but don’t know the charges for those. Location is convenient to see sites in the area. We found it very quiet and a safe location. Overall, we had a great nights day."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and well kept easy to find and I completely enjoyed my stay next time I visit Pennsgrove. I will stay here."
"Great location right on the water.
Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was awesome, as was the spur of the moment bike ride on the riverfront with the complimentary bike from the lobby. The DE Children's Museum was across the parking lot and fantastic! I would definitely stay there again. "

Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Marshallton. Holiday rentals offer amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel.
