"Hotel took a mandatory deposit of £40 which you had no choice about. And said that after you checked out of being your account after a couple of days after four days, it still isn’t in the account. Staff is saying it’s been sent, but it hasn’t been sent yet. I stated at the time I didn’t want to use the mini bar which was poorly stocked anyway. It just seems very unfair that you have to do this and when they say they’re gonna refund your money, they don’t"

"I usually use Hilton hotels but noticed that this place was getting excellent reviews, so I booked for my one-night stay in Lincoln. Great start. Luke at the front desk gave a warm, genuine welcome without any 'corporate speak' that sometimes sounds like it's from a script. Room very clean with good amenities - has the feel of a company that knows how to please and takes trouble to maintain a high standard. The inclusive breakfast deserves a special mention - brilliant value and far better than most hotel breakfasts that come with an extra charge. I'd say this hotel is unbeatable at its price point. I'll be back!"
