Top Marston Hotel Reviews

Lace Market Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Everything I required was in the room, ironing board, hairdryer and a good assortment of teas etc. Very clean and well presented room with comfortable bed. Only improvement I would suggest is having curtains in the bathroom. Presently there is a blind but my room was right on the road, it was very quiet but the orange street light came through the blinds, hence the suggestion of adding curtains. Very nice overall stay. Thank you."

DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln

10/10 Excellent

"It was easy to find and there was space in the car park which was very convenient. We were given a lovely warm chocolate cookie on arrival and were able to check in by 1.30 pm which was also helpful. The upstairs bar had a small outdoor balcony with great views over the water. The choice at breakfast was excellent if a little cramped when busy as it was a help yourself. Great value stay!"

Woodcocks, Lincoln by Marston's Inns

8/10 Good

"Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."

The Nottinghamshire Hotel and Golf Club

8/10 Good

"Reception colleagues Shelly and another colleague I don’t know the name of are real ambassadors here, nothing is too much trouble. Shout out to Gizmo the chef here who is very personable and produces lovely dishes. Hotel rooms here are really lovely. Good parking facilities."
