"Very nice, ample and light room with a double bed, a proper desk, kitchenette and table. Much nicer and spacious than a hotel room. Bed was not the most comfortable but ok for a couple of nights. 10 minutes walking away from Rugby's pedestrian area. Can be a bit noisy from the road, but not worse than other hotels I've stayed in Rugby.
Only issue was that email with access instructions went to Spam as it didn't come from hotels.com, but once I called I got the access codes in a couple of...

"No frills but good location. I just needed a bed and shower during a trip to see a concert at the nearby De Montfort Hall. It's a great location for that, less than 5mins walk, also near plenty of bars, restaurants and shops.
It's cheap so I didn't expect much. The room and toilet/shower was basic but clean. There were no curtains, just blinds...so in the summer and with a heat wave it was quite unbearable. There's an electronic lock on the room doors but not on the main outside door so anyone...

"The table was chipped and scratched. And I had to pay an extra £40 on top of my booking price for the standard after stay cleaning. Had to message the property to ask for check in information. Could hear the road from the room as well as everyone leaving and entering through the front door.
Will not be staying here again"

"Nice hotel enjoyed my brief stay and loved the cinnamon roles!! However at check in I was asked for photo id which was not communicated to me prior to me arriving at the hotel."
"My family enjoyed our short 2 night stay, Friendly staffs from the f&b department especially Sophie, very accommodating and very kind friendly. (My 2 year old son made a new friend)
Our room is very clean and very spacious.
We will definitely come back and stay again..."

10/10 Excellent
"We recently stayed for three days in this recently refurbished hotel. We stayed in Room 210. We found the room spacious and in a very good position overlooking the main thoroughfare in the shopping and restaurant area. It was during an exceptional heatwave and the air conditioning was superb in our room and throughout the hotel. It is an elegant hotel and quiet. We would particularly like to mention the staff at breakfast, at the bar and reception.
In particular whilst we were there I also needed to carry out some work but needed a larger table in my room. Through the excellent and diligent attention on reception by Nijo Bastin the table and chair arrived very promptly. In fact, within minutes of my request. Also I needed some printing done and this again was dealt with extremely efficiently by Nijo and Sharon. Whilst we did not dine at the hotel we did have the breakfast each day and it was excellent. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay made even more pleasant by the staff. Needless to say, the Hotel is very centrally placed and is an extremely short distance from the main railway station. It was only a few minutes to walk along straight and level pavements to arrive at the hotel.
The only thing we did not like was the TV. The remote was very temperamental making it very hit and miss in turning on the channels."
"The room its self was clean and tidy nice freshly made bed. The staff were all nice and friendly and willing to help.
Breakfast was okay could have done with a bit more choice on the cooked breakfast.
The only thing that was a slight downside was parking as there is no onsite car park I had to use a car park that was a slight walk away from the hotel."
"Breakfast is amazing. The hotel is like a giant bungalow just a couple floors above grade. Easy to access lovely gardens to enjoy some food. I would stay again in a heartbeat"
"Air con was brilliant and well used in this hot weather.
Staf, were friendly and professional. The room was clean and nice bed.
Shower was great and parkong was good.
Only downside was not much choice at breakfast but what selection they had was very good."
"Great quiet hotel. Ample parking for everyone.Staff are really helpful and friendly. Staff attrition is low, we stay about every 6-7 weeks and it is the same people. This shows that working conditons, pay etc must be acceptable for staff to stay making it a happy place.Dog friendly rooms with lovely river walks past the rugby club down past the canal or along the river and around the wildlife reserve. Food is great, especially the amazing choice at breakfast. We stay in different grades of room depending on length of stay. The 2 bed suites are situated close to the lifts but are sound insulated to a point. Amenities include minifridge, aircon, fan heaters and cooling fans, 2 double beds and 2 bed settees. Bathroom is functional and well stocked with soaps, shampoos in pump dispensers.
Local wildlife when on walks complete the atmosphere. Cannot really fault this for the realistic price per night."
"Excellent room and can’t fault the welcome and service of the staff.
Stayed here with my daughter for the weekend and felt safe and looked after. Food was excellent and shops easy walking distance.
There was a music event happening nearby when we arrived which worried me but it couldn’t be heard from the room even with the window open."
