Good property that worked in a pinch. Staff is exceptionally nice and very helpful. Room smelled a bit like an athletic team had been in it when we first walked in. Fortunately the window opened up, so we could air it out while we went out for dinner.

We have stayed at the Bearcat Inn before. We knew they were going under a renovation the last time we stayed and were in a non renovated room. This time we asked for a renovated room and it was fantastic, clean modern, spacious, and clean huge upgrade. The breakfast area was updated and looked beautiful

What I liked about the property is it everything was convenient. As far as availability to everything that Maryville has to offer everything probably within a walking distance actually restaurants Walmarts all those things convenience. Stores are very nice place to stay. Highly recommended was wonderful. Will always stay there while I’m coming back-and-forth from my job.

The price was reasonable for the property. The bed was a little hard. The shower was nice and the tub non-slippery, which was great. We appreciated having a full size refrigerator. We didn't really like being in the annex instead of the main building, so the breakfast was not convenient at all and we ate breakfast elsewhere. We did appreciate that our request for a first floor room was accommodated.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We realize it's hard to know what kind of room you book when booking online. The room type you chose is only located in our extended stay building. Please give us a call directly next time you stay, so we can make sure you're in the main building in our brand new remodeled rooms. They are a little more expensive, but they are equipped with more amenities. Again, thank you for the nice review and we hope to see you next time you're in Maryville.

Everything about the property was very good. Location was very assessable to restaurants plus very assessable to my job, which was only about three blocks away. Staff was fantastic. Will be staying there as long as I’m in Maryville.

The bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. The sink in the bathroom had cracks. The shower head was at eye level and I'm not tall. I was charged twice - once by Expedia and again by Bearcat Inn. It appears they are in the process of remodeling but not complete yet.

We are still in the process of remodeling the rooms, there are still a lot of changes to come. I looked into the charge it shows you was charged only by Expedia and there was a hold on your card for incidentals. Please come again!

The staff was excellent. My room or my suite was very clean. It was taken care of every day the breakfast was fair. But I will be staying there anytime. I’m in Maryville.

Great stay!
Nice lobby, very helpful staff checking in. We had two rooms. Both were nice (one was recently remodeled). Brand new breakfast area! Wow! Lots of seating, great selection of food. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to all my NW friends.

All of the employees were very kind and helpful. Although I couldn’t get sleep due to the very uncomfortable bed. You could feel the springs through the mattress. They provided breakfast and have a large selection. The employees were constantly bringing out more food. Overall the facility was very clean with some parts newly remodeled.

Renovations need to be finished.
We stayed for 2 nights. The place is in the process of being renovated. We got a recently renovated room. Everything was very nice, all new. Had an issue with the heater and had to pull the plug for it to stop running. Seemed to fix the issue. Keys worked and then didn't work, so system is still a work in process. Kitchen area for food is still a work in progress. Limited hot food selection as oatmeal, waffles, bagels and toast were selections. All the employees were very nice and accommodating to us.

Waited for a blanket at front desk 2 gals up front and not even acknowledged. So I went back to my room and call the front desk. Room was a standard on hotels.com website it had a couch and said sleeps 3 only a king bed. So we had to go out and buy an inflatable bed. Just an older hotel.

We were put in the older building in the room, had a fairly strong odor to it, which was either cleaning supplies or spray to combat smoke. The bathroom had a couple of issues in that the stool handle was broken and so was the drain stopper in the bathtub. Your appeared to be a very large bedroom with a fairly small bed. It was nice to have a recliner, but it would’ve been nicer to have either two beds or a king size bed. The refrigerator made a noise about every 45 seconds, which is really noticeable when trying to sleep. I would have to say I would never stay here again if I was in the older building. Not sure the condition of the main sweet.

Best place in town!
Phenomenal little hidden gem in Maryville. Clean spacious and environmentally friendly, full sized suites with full sized appliances and big screen televisions at standard hotel prices. Options for recliners or couches and more, hot breakfast and extra amenities such as work out rooms laundry facilities and recreational areas for large group gatherings. Luxury you didn't know you could afford!

The check-in person was Very pleasant and helpful. But the rest of my stay was unsatisfactory. The toilet ran constantly - they recommended that I manually fix it each time after flushing. The bed was WAY too hard and the recliner was even worse - and didn't recline! I requested handicap accessibility....they apparently don't have a room with handicap access shower. I could not step up over the tub edge. There was a group of Mexicans partying in the parking lot until all hours of the evening, making it uncomfortable to go outside to smoke (non-smoking rooms). The person who checked me out was ok, but was not helpful with my inability to get in/out of the main (heavy) door, like the check-in clerk did.

I am sorry you was unsatisfactory with your stay. Sorry about your toilet running constantly I will talk to my maintenance man and make sure we get it fixed. In a ANNEX hotel there is no handicap rooms. Next time book a double queen room that is listed as handicap or call us so we can get into the right type of room you need. I am sorry our other guest make you feel uncomfortable. Please let the front desk know about this next time and we can see if we can do something to help you feel better.
