"I don’t usually complain, but this stay was a bit crazy. The staff was very nice, and we really enjoyed the LandShark restaurant. The nightly entertainment and s’mores were a fun touch. I had upgraded my room prior to arrival, and unfortunately it ended up being a letdown. The TV stopped working on our second night, and we called a few times for someone to come fix it. No one ever came, and by the time they finally offered to move us to another upgraded room on the same floor, it was already 8:30 at night and we were leaving the next morning. Packing everything up just to switch rooms at that point didn’t make sense. The in‑room coffee maker also broke on our last day. On top of that, there were pencil marks on the end of the bed and stickers inside the closet door — small things, but not what you expect after paying for an upgrade. The outdoor pool was closed due to cold temps, which I understood, but the outdoor hot tub was also closed. The only way to use a pool or hot tub was by buying waterpark tickets on top of the room rate. At that point, I could have stayed at a similar hotel nearby with an indoor pool and hot tub included, plus breakfast. They did remove the upgrade charge that night, and I’m just waiting to see it credited back. The staff and restaurant were great, but overall the experience didn’t match the price or the upgrade I paid for."

"The staff were very professional and welcoming. The room and property were clean. That is really the end of the good news. We stayed 2 nights off season, the cost 430.00+. The room clean but severely lacking. The showerhead, yuck, the tub filled with water when trying to take a shower, the towels, clean but paper thin, ditto bedding. Toilet backup day 1. The plugs next to the bed did not work had to charge phones on the floor with wall outlets. We did not complain, really what could staff do? These are management issues and should be addressed. There are so many options on the Cape, we were disappointed. Definitely not staff fault. "
