The hotel was typical rural Japanese, the showers are shared in the onsen area (no en suite). Breakfast was served to you but was really typical Japanese (don't expect western food here).

Sansui Lakeside Villa
THE VILLA ABASHIRI
Proper traditional Japanese stay. However check-in isn’t straight forward you have to message the owner 2 days prior which sometimes can be a nuisance.

THE LODGE ABASHIRI
使いやすいコンパクトな大きさのロッジでした。近くに美味しい卵農家さんがいて嬉しかったです。 まきがいっぱいありました。バーベキューができるようにテントがあったのがよかったです！ 洗濯ができるように物干し竿やハンガーがほしいです。
