"This was a perfect family getaway and our first time to Carolina Beach! Wonderful location with walking distance to the Boardwalk. Spacious suite with ocean views, delicious breakfast buffet. The bartender at the Tiki Bar made a drink for me that wasn’t on the menu and it was a real treat! Fireworks on the beach on our last night was the best ending. Thank you!"

"By appearances, it seems that the hotel was either recently built or recently renovated, which is nice. It was comfortable and nicely appointed. A few complaints: parking was $12 a night on an open lot, which I've rarely seen in a hotel in a location like this. That was annoying. Also, though I frequently saw housekeeping on my floor, the hallways had a lot of debris and very visible dust-bunnies/carpet-fiber bunnies everywhere. It just looked messy, dirty and unkept, and they obviously don't vaccum all that often. My room had a leftover coffee pod in the machine from the last guest, and crumbs of food on the floor and the chair. And ants. When I told the front desk about it and asked for the room to be vaccumed...it wasn't. I stayed in the hotel for three more nights and housekeeping never once entered my room."

"Like the convenience to access the beach. Did not care for valet parking. Needs to increase frequency of cleaning, saw debris on the hallway carpet that lasted about a day, The towel collection bins were overflowing. Garbage bins overflowing. Pool bathrooms can use more frequent cleaning. Lack of sufficient number of water filling station and ice, should be in very floor. The bathroom sliding door was broken. The AC unit is extremely loud. The partition in the shower is two small lots of water spill outside the shower."
