"We have stayed here twice during MTU move-in week, and the location is convenient to Houghton, without all the chaos of trying to stay and park downtown. The cabin has plenty of room and the amenities are fine. My only concern is there are some electrical issues in the bathroom causing the GFCI to trip frequently, and the smoke detectors were both dead."

"Cute retro place to stay for a few nights. I wish this motel and every accommodation on this earth would have a bedside table for each side. Also-I hope the (very nice) owners would please replace all the towels that must have been new at the time of the opening from last century."
