"It was just an OK stay being that we traveled 16 hours. Our bedding didn’t smell clean or fresh and the mattress had a dip which irritated our backs and the shower floor had a big hump in the center. We asked if we could get our rooms switched and all we were offered was to get our mattress flip. We stuck it out up to our departure. The good part of it was housekeeping was kind enough to switch out our bedding and clean our room."

"We were very pleasantly surprised with our room and three nights stay at studio six. When I realized it was affiliated with Motel six I considered not checking in and going elsewhere, but we decided to go look at it and were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was very clean and the kitchen facilities were nice to have. The bed was comfortable and our room was quiet. The front desk clerk, Claudia, gave an amazing customer service and was extremely friendly. Overall, it was a surprisingly pleasant stay, exceeding our expectations."

"My room was nasty, I checked in, went to my room. Saw how the room was unkept and smelled. I went back to the front desk and asked to be moved. They would not accommodate me changing rooms. I then checked out. It was not a great experience at all. No refund, was worth staying there. I spent close to 175.00 for me to go in and change my clothing. What a disapointment. "

"Breakfast was great. They kept it very well stocked and there was a good variety. I particularly liked the biscuits and gravy, and all the fruit. The only thing I would add was the need for black tea, with caffeine and without. Parking was definitely very easy!"

"The hotel is a sort of Gormenghast. Vast in size, with dingy time worn corridors, stairwells and huge empty function rooms and cupboards stacked with chairs. stretching out in all directions from a much better maintained and appointed central area. Only one lift working to 11 floors at the very back of the hotel. To get there a long walk down a very empty and lonely corridor sided by storage rooms and dark empty spaces. I asked for a quiet room in advance and again on arrival, so was given a room in 'The Tower' overlooking the busiest and noisiest road, next to the ice machine and the lift. Given the hotel was mostly empty that seemed almost casually unkind. The second night l asked to change due to being able to hear every hoot and shout from the adjoining room, via a connecting door. A different member of staff was very understanding and helped me out. The second room faced the amtrak station, no connecting door, quiet street, (couldn't l have been given this the first night?) Both rooms were clean and well maintained with useful power sockets and decent bathrooms. Not all rooms have open windows, but ac works. Good breakfast, with friendly breakfast guy. You need a car to stay here and get out for food (no restaurant on site, except breakfast and this is not a vibrant area). Parking on site. The hotel seems to have mostly workers and individual travellers during the week, but may fill up with sports fans, event teams and associations at weekends. Different again perhaps"
