"Good rooms for a good price. Everything was clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s not a Holiday Inn, e.g. breakfast, (they do have an espresso machine though :), outside entrance, but at least it’s clean and maintained. Would recommend if you’re looking for a clean place to sleep at an affordable rate. "

"Wow, just wow! What a wonderful and special place Windermere House is, located in a stunningly beautiful part of Canada. Our lake view balcony room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable with a view that you could never ever tire of seeing. All the staff were extremely friendly and the service we received was exceptional. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, the buffet breakfast was superb and we ate each evening in the Windermere Pub, again the service and quality of food were wonderful. We feel extremely lucky to have stayed at this very fabulous hotel. "
