Hotel Villa Maïa offers a stunning view of Lyon and the river. The staff are warm, courteous, and genuinely friendly. Rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. It’s quiet at night, making it ideal for restful sleep. The train station is just a few minutes’ walk away, though there are no shops nearby. The hotel has an indoor pool and a gym. The downside is the surrounding area has no shops or eateries nearby.

The staff are the nicest in the whole of France. I felt extremely welcome and respected.

Awesome staff. Everyone at reception, conceirge, housekeeping and bar. Most friendly and helpful. We are extremely impressed with their courtesy, warm, and most helpful in their attitudes. We felt very well taken care. Fantastic.

Loved our experience. Staff was amazing and the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed we ve ever had It’s a treat to have breakfast outside with the amazing view to Lyon . The view really Is amazing ! Only slight disappointment- the jacuzzi is dated and our dinner at the Terrace was “meh” due mainly to service

Quiet and unique hotel.

A super charming hotel with immaculate service and great location. We enjoyed our stay so so much - the hotel is so beautiful and the staff service was superb! Highly recommend! We will def stay here again if we come back to Lyon!!

Pros: -Clean -English speaking front desk. -Centre of the City -Fast WiFi Cons: -Weak room heater. -No hot water flask in room. -No Toothbrush/paste. -Did not indicate breakfast cost. -Only one English speaking TV channel (CNN).
