"No reception, restaurant closed, middle of nowhere next to a motorway. Automated entry to the building and your room. Very basic, no tea/coffee. Felt like jail (i assume)."
"The hotel provides a fridge and kettle. The hotel is just yards away from several bus routes that will take you to the Renfe train station, sightseeing and shopping. It is about 500 meters to the Palacio del Infantado and a bit further the Cathedral, parks and historic area. The museum of Guadajara is not to be missed. AC hotel is a good base for visiting Siguenza and Alcala de Henares via train. "
"It was good for the price! Expect minor flaws which probably vary from room to room.
Pros: Most importantly, it was very clean. WiFi was reliable. The restaurant was good. Most of the staff were nice. There was a pretty park and old palace right next to the hotel and plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. There was also a cool history museum within just a few minutes walk.
Cons: Toilet flushed a little too hard and splattered, but it wasn’t that bad. I asked for a wake up call and never received one but no big deal, my phone alarm was enough.
Aside from those things I was happy there overall and recommend it as a good budget option. I would stay there again. The five stars I gave take the price into consideration as well. "
"The whole stay was lovely but in particular I want to thank the woman who checked us in. We arrived an hour earlier than planned and she was getting ready to leave. She stayed to check us in, and throughout our stay was friendly and helpful, asking if we wanted housekeeping or an early breakfast on the day we left. I wish I could name her but I hope she knows how much we appreciated her help."
"A lovely hotel just a short 15 minute walk from the centre and on the circular bus route to get to the bus and railway stations.
The only issue was the noisy groups of elderly travellers having breakfast in the morning. Although they were seated in a separate area, they decimated the breakfast buffet and made it unpleasant for other guests. It would have been much better if they had a separate buffet in their own area."
